Abstract

In this paper we developed an analysis of the collection Querem nos calar: poemas para serem lidos em voz alta (DUARTE, 2019), to think about the feminine point of view in black Brazilian literature and contribute to the development of strategies of anti-racist pedagogy. After analyzing the relationship between the Griots of Africa and poetry speaks, we conclude by demonstrating the strength of the poetic word pointing to the power of lyric presented in this collection and for the importance of works like this to overcome the epistemicide (CARNEIRO, 2005) and racism in the school (MUNANGA, 2005).
