The present article aims to present and discuss a central theme of the novel Douceurs du bercail (1998), by the Senegalese writer Aminata Sow Fall: territorial displacements. Initially, we will present some discussions about territorial displacements, notably migration and immigration, and their presence in Senegalese society and literature (DIOUF, 2009; MAMBENGA-YLAGOU, 2005; ROSA, 2014; THIOYE, 2005;). Subsequently, we will analyze some of the excerpts from Aminata Sow Fall's work in which territorial displacement gains prominence, highlighting how Fall constructs her narrative with this very current and important topic (DIOUF, 2009; ONUKO, 2012; THIOYE, 2005).
